We bring you the latest updates on TracInnovations, including some exciting news to come at the upcoming RSNA 2026. Thank you for joining us on this journey to make patient motion a barrier of the past.
Upcoming Conferences 2026 and 2027
RSNA 2026 - visit us at Booth 3255
Chicago, IL USA | November 2026
TracInnovations is busy preparing for the RSNA 2026 in Chicago (November 29 – December 2), and we're bringing something new! Visit us at Booth 3255 in the South Hall, for a first look at our exciting new chapter. We will unveil new products to help radiology teams capture cleaner scans, reduce costly rescans, and promote more intelligent motion-based decision-making. More details to come - save the date and stop by the booth.
TracInnovations at ASPNR 2027 | Miami, FL USA | January 2027
TracInnovations is exhibiting at ASPNR 2027, come visit our booth and see how we help teams reduce rescans and capture cleaner scans, with the patients who need it most.
TracInnovations at ECR 2027 | Vienna, Austria | March 2027
TracInnovations is excited to exhibit for the first time at ECR 2027, showcasing our unique CE-certified technology in neuro MRI, enabling motion-based decision making for the clinical MRI community.
Open Innovation for Retrospective Motion Correction — ISMRM 2026 | Splitthoff, Hucker, Slipsager, Glimberg et al. (Siemens Healthineers / University of Freiburg / TracInnovations) -- Link to the PDF
First-of-Its-Kind: Prospective Motion Correction in Naturally Sleeping Infants — ISMRM 2026 Oral | Zariry, Hiba et al. (CNRS Lyon / Harvard Medical School / MGH) -- Link to the PDF
ISMRM 2026 oral presentation by Bassem Hiba form CERMEP group in Lyon: The first study to quantify active prospective motion correction in naturally sleeping infants found that Tracoline TCL3 significantly improved high-resolution T2-weighted brain MRI quality and reduced motion-related bias in cortical-thickness measurements.
Using non-contact, markerless real-time tracking and selective reacquisition, the work supports more reliable, sedation-free infant brain MRI - even where subtle respiratory motion is present (screenshot above).
ASPNR 2026 – Tampa, FL | January 2026
TracInnovations attended the American Society of Paediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR) 8th Annual Scientific Meeting in Tampa, Florida in January 2026 as Sunset Cruise Sponsor. Michelle Stock (Director of Business Development and Sales, North America) led a dedicated Small Group Meet-Up in collaboration with the team at Phoenix Children's Hospital — a focused session on the real-world clinical burden of motion in paediatric neuroimaging and the practical role of markerless tracking in reducing reliance on sedation and anaesthesia.
The session was extremely well received, generating strong interest from attending paediatric neuroradiologists and reinforcing the momentum around Tracoline in this community. We are grateful to our colleagues at Phoenix Children's Hospital for their support.
A Warm Welcome to Our New Tracoline Sites
Kennedy Krieger Institute | Baltimore, MD, USA
We are delighted to welcome Kennedy Krieger Institute to the TracInnovations family as they add their second Tracoline system. We look forward to supporting their team and building a strong partnership as they continue their important work in care, research and innovation.
Hvidovre Hospital – DRCMR | Copenhagen, Denmark
We welcome the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at Hvidovre Hospital to the TracInnovations family. The DRCMR is one of Scandinavia's leading neuroimaging research centres and we look forward to a productive collaboration. This Tracoline-assisted research at Hvidovre is spear-headed by Associate Professor in Pediatric Neuroradiology Kathrine Skak Madsen.
The Medical University of Graz is a well-established centre for clinical and translational neuroimaging in central Europe. Their brand-new Tracoline installation further strengthens our growing network across the region, and we are excited to support their brain imaging research programme.
Hear From Our Sites!
We are pleased to share testimonial content from researchers working with Tracoline in the field. Hear from the teams at the Toronto Neuroimaging Facility (ToNI) at the University of Toronto and the Trinity College Dublin Institute of Neuroscience (TCIN) in Ireland on their experience with the TCL3 in their 3T research environments.
We are pleased to announce that the CALM-MRI consortium has received a Eurostars grant of more than €1 million to advance motion correction for paediatric neuro MRI into routine clinical use. Building on GyroTools and TracInnovations’ established collaboration, the consortium - also including Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen and the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK/UZH) - will generate clinical evidence and integrate the technology into workflow, validating it across a broad range of MRI protocols at both partner hospitals.
New Research Spotlight
Tracoline vs. Fat-Navigators: In-Vivo Tracking Accuracy (Preprint) | Zariry, Hiba et al. (CNRS Lyon / Harvard Medical School / MGH / TracInnovations)
A new CNRS Lyon, Harvard Medical School, MGH, and TracInnovations preprint introduces an in-vivo framework for comparing MRI motion-tracking methods, benchmarking markerless Tracoline against FatNav across defined head positions.
Tracoline showed greater accuracy for translations and clinically relevant 2–4° rotations, with motion-corrected images also achieving higher SSIM, PSNR, and sharpness scores.
Thank you for being part of our mission: to remove patient motion as a barrier to accurate and efficient MRI. We look forward to sharing more with you in the next edition of TracInsights!
